Alhamdulillah hil’ladhi ah’yaana ba’damaa amaa’tanaa wa ilay’hin nushoor
TRANSLATION
All praise be to Allah, who gave us life after death (sleep is a form of death) and to Him will we be raised and returned.
BENEFIT AND VIRTUE
Hudhaifa رضي الله عنه narrated:
“When the Prophet ﷺ got up, he would say this Dua.”

TRANSLITERATION
Bismillah;
Allahumma innee A’oodhu-bika minal khubu’thi wal khaba’ith.
TRANSLATION
In the name of Allah. O Allah I seek refuge in You from the male female evil and Jinn’s.
BENEFIT AND VIRTUE
Narrated by Anas bin Malik رضي الله عنه:
“Whenever the Prophet ﷺ went to the lavatory, he used to say this Dua.”

Narrated by Zayd Ibn Arqam رضي الله عنه, The Prophet ﷺ said:
“These toilets are haunted (inhabited by devils) so when anyone of you goes to the toilet let him say this Dua.”

“When the Prophet ﷺ exited the toilet, he used to say Ghufraanak.”
